Bochum

Propsteikirche St. Peter and Paul, the oldest church in the city built by Charlemagne in between the year 785-600. The property was again renovated in the 11th century. After a fire in 1517 the property was again reconstructed in 1547 and was made in late-Gothic style. The bell tower has got a height of 68 meters and it is definitely one of the major landmarks of the city.

The main protestant church of Bochum, Germany is Pauluskirche. It was built in the year 1650 and it got the required donations from North Europe. There are two surviving castles which are nestled on the northern bank of the river Rhur. Other popular sites include the musical Starlight Express, the German Mining Museum and the nostalgic Train Museum which is situated in the borough of Dahlhausen.  The city of Bochum is very well connected by good communication facilities.
