Auckland

The city goes hand-in-hand with life. Its vibrant waterfront has truly made it named as the ‘City of Sails’. The busy and ever-expanding downtown, the highly individual suburbs and the glorious beaches are second to none. Auckland is situated just over 300km from the northern tip of North Island. The city includes a narrow isthmus where small and big roads have been weaved around bays and harbors.

Apart from the waterfront and fertile lands the natural attraction of Auckland is its appealing weather. Through there is occasional snowfall during winter (June to August) the summer experiences a temperature of around 20s Celsius. There are 22 leafy parks and over 500km of walking trails within Greater Auckland.

A ferry tour to the islands leaves any of the visitor store a pleasant memory for ever. Queen Elizabeth II Square, Queen Street, Auckland Town Hall are the others important tourist attractions. Queen Street leads to the Karangahape Road. The heart of Auckland city lies between Karangahape Road and waterfront. The sophisticated Parnell district, Auckland museum, Auckland Domain Park are the best place in southeast. Herne Bay and Ponsonby witness the attractive bars and cafes in the northwest.
